Question from Sexyloops:

Gents,

"Would it be too late in the season for some dry fly fishing on the Don between the 10th and 15th September?"

Well? Is it?

No, it would not be too late to catch on a dry.

Definitely not too late although if looking for apes it would probably be more productive using a streamer, you'd probably pick up more fish that way at the time of year mentioned.

On the lower Don, around Parkhill, September can be one of the best months for the dry fly.
