Mental but brilliant.  Didn't know you could stand on a tube, feel a new challenge compie coming on that could rival Broontroots unicycle  :z4

Un-nerving enough bobbing about on Stenness with all the seals about, never mind those fish (and everything else down there that might fancy a nibble at a fin or two :shock)

Hi to all, I am new to forum. It looks great fun, i have never had a go of  float tubing.Went out with a forum member to have a go,only to find the pond was iced over.maybe ill get another chance as it does look awsomly fun, But im happy with the trout.               Hope u all had a good Christmas and all the best for the New Year :z18

Strikes me as being an activity restricted to folk built like racing snakes  :grin which means I'm never going to be standing up in a 'tube  :shock I've way too much 'ballast' for me to give it a go  :z7
That said, most float tubes I've tried would probably be more stable than many a loch boat I've used in the past  :shock

Don't worry about it , we were all crap at one time , no one was more nervous than me. Its a good place to learn and get your confidence up.
