hi folks,does anyone know of any fisherys that are open and ice free?
really need to bend the rod,so fed up being stuck indoors watching poop tv

Not usre , I was thinking the same myseld. Locheter will be the 1st to open as its most exposed to any fresh wind.
Doubt it will be completley ice free though.

Glen of Rothes with the air pumps usually has some areas fishing. Depends on the road in though.  Best to phone first.

glen of rothes is fishable,nice fish getting caught today
delgaty is almost thawed out,all other places seem to be still frozen.
heading up to rothes to bend the rod tomorrow :z15 expecting a lot of flooding to be on the roads  :z5

was at glen of rothes today, would'nt be surprised if most of it ice free by morning!!!...first time there had great day with a 9lber to top it off..looking forward to going back!!! :z4 :z15 :z15

The Glen is a bit of a drive for me , might give it a go in the spring . i am going to chnace Lochter tomorrow.

Leave a few for me and my mate Broontroot.  Workin today :cry but headin out for a spot of year end angling to Rothes with the flashy things and wee bit of plastic floaty things either tomorrow or Fri.

we got fishing at rothes yesterday,got a few fish.still lots of ice around,but enough patches for everyone to get a cast in.great day out and the weather was smashing,felt like a summers day compared to what it has bin  :z4 good to be bending the rod again  :z16
