Just feathers Baz, or do you use oiler puffs too? I might have a possible source for high quality product :wink

I'd probably have to choose between feathers and puffs.

I also use a fair amount of the feathers in my F-Flies & CDC Bubble Hoppers etc. :wink

Not yet, I am still in the land of the Sun, Tarpon, Sailfish & Marlin!!!!

Hi Mike,
I use a lot of CDC feathers tying dries, using the Marc Petitjean method. I have never tried the puffs however - too fiddly for me!

I've used the puffs before and found them very easy to use for wings and posts etc, probably not much use for spinning/dubbing though.

The product appears to be excellent, but I'm not sure it's my thing, as it doesn't really go with fly lines and I'm not a fly tying specialist :z6
