Haddo Trout Fishery ( to November 15th )
« on: 15/11/2010 at 19:48 »
Hi folks

Spiders, F-Flies, Crunchers, Straggle Nymphs, Snatchers, PTNs, Dancers, Damsels, Mini Cats, Fritz and Bloodworms have been on the menu at Haddo this week :wink

Michael MacPherson enjoyed a good session tempting 20 fish up to 7 lb, boat partner Andrew MacPherson netted 16 up to 4 lb, Ewan Lindsay had 10 including a nice 5 lb Brownie, Lyall Wilson 8 up to 10 lb, Steve Faithful 8 up to 9 lb, Phil Broadley 8 up to 8 lb and Shaun Conlane netted 7 fish up to 12 lb.

Today was the first time this year that the loch has frozen over. We managed to clear a long section and the four anglers on the water all managed some nice trout in these conditions, Ewan Lindsay netting 8 fish including a 10 lb rainbow and a Brownie of approx 4 lb.

Best wishes
Mike
