Now, I know nothing about fly tying but if you watch as much of that video as I did, about 30 seconds, then you can figure out that what you can't see is pretty obvious. Robots my arse.

The video shows that robots can't tie flies BUT I was more interested in the where it came from... the guy is a surgeon and that's the stuff used for remote robot assisted operations... on that basis it is quite fantastic... and if he's honing his skills by fly tying good on him (I'd have no objection with him playing with my soft parts if needed) - commercial tyers do not fear the gear is way too expensive to have one tying flies commercially.

From a technical point of view I was rather impressed!
