Well, that's me just about packed.
On Monday we leave the North East of Scotland for the South West of France. Permanently
After 23 years up here I am heading South for the sunshine.
The good news for me is that I will be surrounded by some great fishing, of all sorts. I have the river Lot on the doorstep where I can coarse fish for giant carp and monstrous cat fish, as well as Black Bass on the fly, lovely little streams for trout and loads of lakes for all sorts of species.
My ambition for next year is a 20lb carp on the fly from a float tube
I have spent most of the day just packing fishing tackle, never knew I had acquired so much (neither did Mrs Caddisfisher until today
)
I will stay in touch via the forum and will be sure to post pictures of that 20lber.
