I'll second that too.  Aerowing seems to float much better than any of the other stuff like that I've tried.

Iam now a cdc feind!
last couple of months dries have been doing well for me and cdc with some veniards cdc oil appplied to it un sinkable!
Best find for me this season was the cdc oil, sounds like a gimick but it makes a huge difference!  :z16

I'm a convert to aero-wing, although 'ducks arse flees' -  that really needs to be said in a Yorkshire accent, guy I used to tie flies for couldn't pronounce Cul De Canard kence 'ducks arse' - still feature in my river box.

Never heard of CDC oil, I wonder how they get that  :shock

Ethel,

I almost bought CDC Oil ages ago but was dubious as to it's ability to really prevent me from having to 'primp' a CDC fly often. :z8

I will give it a go  :z16 as I do miss fishing certain CDC flies but on the river when the vegetation is omnipotent and collossal I hate having to regularly strip in all the line to treat the leader or fly as it always velcros' itself to said nuisance :mad :mad

Just netted one of my ducks and tried wringing it out, ended up with a bit of water in the bottom of the bucket but no signs of any oil and the mallard seemed a tad unhappy? :z4

Best wishes
Mike

No harm was done to any animals in this experiment! :shock  :z4  :z4  :z4
