The weather this week has been more settled with occasional heavy showers and the variable temperatures making the evening rise a "hit or a miss". Catches have been reasonable with M James from Lancaster landing a nice 8lb specimen and M Pirie from Cairnbulg with a nice 10lb. Other catches included:

When I wrote last week we were enjoying a visit from Fraserburgh Angling Club and for their day they landed a creditable 58 fish. Well done lads and 1 lady - your bankside etiquette was refreshing to see and your burgers and sausages were great - Thank you.
I have never seen such a mixture of end tackle as has been recorded this week including everything from mid winter lures to the smallest CDCs.
Who said that fishing is not challenging!
