just thought i would share this with you all as i'm still grinning from ear to ear.
a fine sea liced seatrout of around 5lb i had this morning on the deveron.
safely returned.

thanks guys,
the set up is a 10ft rod with a 7wt floating line with 10 ft of clear intermediate, 8lb fluro with two size 14 stoats tails. casting quite square across the river and swinging round quite fast.
i,ve had about 6 seatrout between 2 and 5lb and an 11lb salmon in the last few weeks.
put in a few hours but well worth it.
