I'm a stillwater fisher mostly.
Like most folk I can chuck a not bad line a fair distance but would like to improve.
Where could I get some professional tuition to improve my technique.
Aberdeenshire would be best.

Welcome to the forum Doug

Give Paul Rankin a PM  He's based in Ellon and his handle on here is "grhe"
He a proper instructor, and a damn fine one at that.

Hi Doug

Welcome to the forum

There are one or two instructors on the forum, I could send you their email address, but hopefully they will contact you themselves

This raises a point that I have been thinking about for a while ......... I frequently get asked for proper tuition and not being qualified myself, I would like to be able to offer contact details for "a local instructor".

So it would be handy if those instructors that might be interested could drop me a PM, phone call or email.

Best wishes

Pauls in Ellon, Allan in Elgin & I'm in Montrose, but there are others. You can get an idea from

http://www.gameanglinginstructors.co.uk/home.asp

this gives a full list of GAIA accredited instructors.
