I just thought I'd introduce myself, Im new to this sport and really enjoying it. ( wish someone told me about it years ago )
I ve been reading on this site for a little while now after being introduced to it by a friend and have been enjoying the very helpful hints and tips from making your own flies to places where to go.
Im gonna have to have a trip out to Haddo once I gain the experience.

I ve been to Lochter and Sunday past up to Delgaty, Just such a surreal sport but as a novice sometimes frustratin.
With the help of a good friend (who is also a member here) he has been keepin me on the right path in casting and tying my own flies.

Haddo is a fantastic place to learn as you don't need to be able to cast very far.
