On a US forum I saw a recommendation for the book 'An Entirely Synthetic Fish' by Anders Halverson. So, being a bookworm I ordered it to check it out and was not disappointed. It is not a fishing book but more a look at rainbow trout stocking in the US from the view point of an ecologist. I would definitely recommend it but also would say to keep an open mind and consider the view point of the author. It is well research but the author does not hide his dislike of stocked fish.
IT was one of these books that made me stop and think.
