Yes fished Insch a couple of weeks ago, Colrayne was still half frozen over but Insch and Kelloch were clear of ice. Very windy when we fished it. I ended up with 15 fish using an indicator  :z16 with size 12 black buzzers on a 11ft leader. As happens quite often at Insch most fish were caught a few feet from the bank, the fly line was practically on the bank.

Fish size was approx 2lb and in good nick. I had to keep moving to get regular takes I lost more than I caught.

Not sure if the stocking density and head of large fish is like it was but with the winter weather conditions stocking has probably been challenging.

There were a good few anglers fishing and looking through the book on that day most were reporting between 4-8 fish. To be honest I dont think there is any noticable difference now Insch has new owners that may change in due course. The Website is currently under contruction.
