Fishing The Fly Scotland Forum

Since the passing of the ice age, it's become very apparent that the troot are not keen on chasing flies.   Consequently, the "pullers" have been consistently outfished by the "buzzers".   Not only are the buzzers winning the number game, but they are also taking the bigger fish with a good number in the 6 lbs to double figures.

How long this will last, I don't know, but it's disheartening when pullers come in for a cuppa saying they've not doing very well, quickly followed by a buzzer whose reports a basket and double figure fish!

Parish notice.   From 29 Mar until 11 Apr, we will close at 1730 hrs.   Ruth is having a hip replaced and once out of hospital, I will have to become a thoroughly modern man until she recovers.   Anyone fancy some free fishing in return for some ironing?
