Bloke XL50. 9 foot, 4-piece, 4 weight trout rod

Rare chance to pick up a brand and unused Bloke XL50, 4 weight. Still has the plastic wrapping on the handle, and the red cloth rod bag is immaculate too.

4-piece, 9 foot, dark burgundy blank with two stripping rings. The blank has that sort of translucent sheen when seen in daylight, but my photos cannot reproduce that. Not snake rings, the other types, name escapes me, whipped on one side only, you know the ones.

Never used as I have another identical one which I do use regularly. I bought two because I liked them, but also bought some other rods so this one is still virgin. These only ever appear on eBay, and aren’t even seen in the custom section of the Bloke web site - http://www.bloke-rods.co.uk/

My own view – lovely light rod, you can fish it all day. It is rated as 4 weight, but in my slow hands it’s quite happy to take a 5 weight line too. Been great in rivers and float tubes too.

Comes with a zip-top cordura rod tube included (I bought that separately).
