I ended up a few short myself but I did mine last and couldn't be bothered going through all the packets to work out who had too many..

Surprised to recieve mine as it looks like the Royal Mail trashed the envelope but all the contents were put in a plastic bag and sent on.

Nice flies counted em and there was 10.

Thanks to all that took part and Matt for organising.

Well i ended up about 9 short.......  same happend to me kevlard. Envelope came in absolutley mangle to bits and there was one fly in a little plastic bag in the bigger plastic bag that the envelope came in.  :z8 shows how crap the royal mail service can be at times.  :mad

Hi,
Sorry to hear about some folks postal difficulties. All mine were present and correct and very nice tying too. Thanks again, Matt.

Thats very annoying guys.  There appears to be no logic though.  Kev's were in his own envelope.  Clark and GRHE and Goolagers flies were in envelopes I used.  I put them in plastic wallets so that if the envelopes got torn etc then the flies would hopefully stay together....

This is not un usual, on many other forums its common for flies to go missing  unless they go recorded delivery!
I received ten flies tonight when i got home, thanks again for all involved and Matt for running it  :z18

I got the full set a couple of days back - well done all and to Matt for organising  :z16

Apologies to all who took part, aware I held things back a smidgen  :oops I can only plead extenuating circumstances precluded earlier delivery  :z17

I was at Haddo today for a few hours. I recently won a Daiwa rod in the Trout and Salmon crossword and was looking for a line to go with it. Mike had kindly offered to let me try a couple.

Anyway.....I was using some of the flies from the swap and had three fish 4lb, 6lb and a cracking double about 10lb
The fly that did the damage was the bloodworm so thanks catman (alex) :z16 Nice one! :z18!

Ps....i plumped for the outcast line. Great line!  :z18
