Best wishes

I have heard of 13 "fresh Spring" fish, not confirmed to date.

Fished Kintore today, no fish to report  :z6

Started at about 10 am as the temp. was -4 deg C when I got up. Had to restart the car when I was tackling up so that I could defrost the tape for the rod joints. Covered quite a bit of water without as much as a pull.  For the first hour or so the rings were getting iced intermittently and the running line was frosted up & my finger tips are like sandpaper - didn't appear that cold.

Oh well.

Water was at a good height although slightly coloured (and cold)

Bring on the warmer weather.

Anyone else out?

Aye

On cross country skis :grin
That's a warmer pastime when the temperature is -120

Despite the cold, I hear on the grapevine that a few fish were caught last week  :wink

This weather will not be helping catches, unlikely to inspire anglers to have a cast.  Just occurred to me yesterday that the trout season opens in some places in about 3 weeks, WTF is the craik with this weather?  I'm back to having ice on the inside of my house!!

Cheers

Ben
