Hi folks

I have revamped the main website at http://www.fishingthefly.co.uk to produce better viewing on more up to date PCs.

So it now looks better in the more popular 1024 X 768 resolution screens.

Please let me know if any of you have problems viewing this new format, or if you see any of my usual mistakes  :z4

Best wishes
Mike

Good stuff Mike, keep up the good work.  Let us hope that  one day   the fossilised   FishDon site will be   kept as conscientiously up to date as "Fishing The Fly"  is. I always said that they would have been  far better paying you to do it. There  is no substitute for enthusiasm.

HI FOLKS,
BARBASSA is back (unfortunately, not in Scotland, just in the FORUM!!).
My compliments (no flattering) for the revamp.
Just to say, I am currently working in the Repuplic of Congo (Brazzaville) and doing my best to catch serious beast ON THE FLY.
I shall get you duly informed of my progress.....so far, just caught what the Master of all Master quoted as  "nice bait".....

Happy new years to all of you!!!

Hi Barbassa

Great to hear from you

Here was I thinking you'd be out after your Italian Chub ........ and there you are in the Congo after "serious beasts"  :z4

I hope we are going to see photos of one of these "serious beasts", whatever they are  :?:

Best wishes for 2007
Mike

I have done a few more updates to the main website today  :z3

The Barrio Fishing Tackle section within http://www.fishingthefly.co.uk now has a secure shopping cart system which enables visitors to order products via mail order directly from the site

I have also removed the "Barrio Fishing Tackle" sub section from the forum ( any tackle questions or feedback are always welcome on here, but these can easily be posted in the main forum sections in the future )

Best wishes

We tested it yesterday

It one of the easiest shopping experiences i've had online.
Much congrats to all the hard work :z14

Hopefully it'll work well.
