Whip Finish Tool

Hiya All

Could any one help with instructions on the use of a whip finish tool. I got one a few years ago but never got any instructions so i have never used it properly

theres several different types - I've got a Matarelli but the others, like you, leave me baffled.  Try entering 'whip finish tool' on YouTube and you'll find clips showing some of the more common ones being used.

Peter, working mans hands and nudgers for fingers mean I use a whip finish tool :wink

Hi Wullie,
                Easiest way is to get someone to show you . It's just a wee knack that can be easily learnt with a bit of practice.
Personally I,m with Peter always use my fingers .

Thanks for all of the replies I found the right ones in the very first video i looked at. Now i will just have to work out the left handed version.
