Fishing The Fly Scotland Forum

Mike Barrio

Hi folks

Charlie MacPherson released a cracking Haddo Brownie today (Friday) estimated to be over 5 lb. They carefully got a quick shot of it with their mobile phone camera on a towel before releasing it.

Looks like a lovely fish, I wonder how long the hand towel is?

Best wishes
Mike

The towel size is 24 x 9 inch
The only problem is I will never hear the end of this the first time the father goes to Haddo without his two sons look what happens  :wink

Thanks for posting the size ( Andrew? )

A 24 inch Brownie, excellent stuff :z16

From the colouring, I think it is one of the pound and a halfers that I stocked a few years ago

Best wishes
