Usual , I had promised a mate a couple of trout, so I'm fishing Braeside, tough going , landed one , lost 4 or 5 in the weeds , hooks a fish, I'm just about to slip the landing net under it when the Black Lab with the guy up the bank dives in and grabs the troot. So now I'm playing a 2lb troot and a 75lb Lab  :shock Would the bllody dog let go  :z4
So the owner has to wade in garb the dog by the collar , dog and fish sucessfully landed  :z4

Jim,
Have you thought of applying to the Guinness Book of Records - I don't suppose many people will have caught a lab before. Mind you, having assistance to land the brute may be held against you!
All the best

I hooked a duck at Thryberg, which took flight and I had to reel it in like a kite!  :z6

How would u rate braeside as a fishery? I live in mintlaw and have never tried braeside before. I have heard it's not that well stocked. Was going to lochter this weekend (depending on the weather) but might try braeside if it comes recommended.
