Haven't cast an EP Baitfish pattern yet but as I'm sure you know the material is hydrophobic and I'm informed by Rob and others that regularly use them they are very easy to cast.
I've larger ones tied on 3/0 Varivas 2600 ST-V hooks! I guess there will be a few 'dog nobbler duck' casts when I first try them.

Ready for Golden Trevally in OZ next month :z3

Subtle colours like Grey and pale pink are the best colours , so i'm told, so here's hoping
