Been tying up Tungsten bead Endrick Spiders for the point.

Tied a few with regular fibre length & 1 1/2 close hackle turns and a few with longer hackles and 3 more open turns - both look ok I think.

Tied up a few Butt Monkey Variants for the Don tonight.  Roll on 1st of April ordered a Kelly Galloup streamer express line off ebay to fish them hopefully wont get stung by customs.  Never tryed lure fishing on the river before so looking forward to giving them a bash.

Nothing boring about a Black Pennell Baz ..... they catch fish! :z4

If you don't already do them, try a Pearly Pennell, these are very good on stillwaters! :wink

Been doing traffic light pennels , they actually look pretty nifty!
Basically a black pennel with a red holo rib with a mirage rib over the top of the red  :wink
Having a standard pennel on your cast is like driving a reliant robin  :z4

Baz, my 'standard' pennell has a mirage rib and it's better than yours!  You'll be tying traffic light bloodworms next!
