I've just been reading the TV guide for the festive period.

And on the 2nd of January a new programme called Nick Hancock's angling school starts at 7-30pm on ITV.It looks like it'll be in 10 parts and will involve Mr Hancock( they think its all over) educating  several wannabee anglers in the fine arts in gods country.

Hopefully it'll good as it has a prime time slot and a half decent presenter.

This was advertised as starting tonight in my TV magazine ...... but it didn't come on and I remembered to tune in as well  

I did a bit of digging and it looks like it is actually starting next week

i was also looking forward to it to and at 7 was told that in a change to the planned programme  we were getting a full hour of emmerdale aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh was what came to mind
will look forward too it next week

vinnie jones is preditor fly fishing in mongolia for wolf fish (timan) on sky travel just now so that makes up for it

ps he gave up on the fly after days and used a rat like lure on a spinning rod and got a 25lber on 6lb line that he lander 2 miles down the bank 40 mins later
