Hi folks

Don't you just love the Autumn ....... the water temps are falling rapidly at the loch ( about 8-9 degrees today ) and the smaller tactics of F-Flies, dries in the size 16 to 22 region,  hareslugs, PTNs, spiders etc are still outfishing lures by miles.

They don't appear to want a fly high & dry, but anything sitting in the surface or in the top 6 inches is the way to go.

It won't be long before you start to read comments about rainbows taking leaves They are certainly following the leaves around, but if you turn a recently fallen leaf over ...... you'll maybe see why

Have had several hard frosts out by me, -3 yesterday morning, so I think a trip for the grayling wont be too far away

Now that I can believe..... but maybe the insulation will help.
Besides, in the kitchen, you can always leave the fridge door open to be warm
