September is always a month when Double figure fish seem to make themselves shown and this week was no exception as Graham Hartley found as he had a great day with fish of 14lbs 5ozs,12lbs 8ozs and 2 mor fish of 6lbs each among his 19 fish.peter Green also landed himself a good double in his 31 fish of 12lbs 11ozs.Stuart Simpkin had a fish of 5lbs 15ozs among 15 fish.Jim eddie had 11 fish best at 5lb 8ozs,Dave Mcgregor had a 6lbs 8ozs fish,Paul Bryson had a 4lb 8oz Blue,Alan Hodgetts landed a 3lb Blue,Willie Petrie had 11 fish best at 4lb 1oz,Ian Wilson had 12 best 4lb 5ozs,George Pirie had a 4lb 1oz fish among his 16.Jim walker landed a 5lb er,John Adams jnr had 2 good days fishing with 10 and 12 fish,Slater Scott had 34,Jimmy Munro had 12,John Cowie 14,Alec Simpson 11,Gordon Grant 22,Eric Paton had a nice 4lb fish,Jim McIntosh had 13,Stevie Wright had 24,Aaron Lonie had 10,Chris Johnston had 14 and Tom Anderson had 13. Blues are featuring really well and giving really good sport and with quite a few being broken its recommended to up the strength in nylon as fish are fighting really well, especially with the bigger doubles on the move now.best flies have been in orange and also black and lime. Coarse loch has started to fish a little bit better with weather change settling a little and fish are being caught, albeit ,not in numbers yet. Anyone interested in the new Winter singles ,names are being taken now and starts in October.
