It's not easy to write a report when I've been away for the week, but looking through the catch returns I can see that there has been a fair mix of fortunes, as I kind of expected with these weather conditions.
Kevin Slessor enjoyed a good session tempting 17 fish up to 7 lb, John Grieve had 15 up to 5 lb, Ian Brown 11 up to 5 lb, Alan Thomson 11 up to 5 lb, Brian Liebenberg 10 up to 4 lb and Scott Johnston netted 10 this evening.
Damsels, Diawl Bachs, Spiders and Buzzers appear to have been popular choices over the week, but watching the trout rising throughout the day today ...... I suspect that we have yet to discover the most productive fly and tactics
