Another quiet week at the fishery with very few anglers about.
The fishing was quite difficult at times with the fish being very fussy, on some days flies of a particular colour would work and then the next day it was all change and another colour would work, very frustrating unless the magic colour was found quickly and the info passed on to other anglers.
Fraserburgh angler A Anderson was top rod boating 16 fish to 6lb using a pink fritz. S Milton bagged 13 to 4lb over two sessions on buzzers while R McKay boated 13 to 4lb on a black fritz. S McLean landed 12 to 5.8lb on a yellow fritz while N Paterson bagged 11 also on a yellow fritz.
J Rennie banked 8 to 3.8lb on buzzers and G Sutherland banked 6 to 4.8lb on a bloodworm. G Wood landed a nice fish of 8lb on a pink fritz in his bag of 4.
