Just thought I'd post a wee picture I took today on the bank of a wee river (to try Mikes 'Tinypic' link).

The rocks were covered with the larger cases which were easily 1 1/2" long.

hope this works...........

sorry the title was misleading but thats what the 'loon' calls them.

I wonder if the empty cases could be used in fly tying ? Reminds me of my youth gadger fishing on the Clyde and WOL . ALL those years ago !
