Tweed days
« on: 20/05/2009 at 16:35 »
Last week we had some lazy days on the upper Tweed. Unfortunately, the
weather was not at the best, to bright and quite strong wind from the east.
We spent several hours on the riverbank, just doing nothing.   :z5
One of the streams with fast water had a huge hatch of sedges, but the trout wouldn’t rock.
We succeed a couple of times when the wind calm down and the BWO:s showed up.  :z16

Hello M Barrio

I just want to say that my new rod worked very well. My best trout was around 1 kg, of course on a dry. Someone is a worthless photographer so I won’t show any pics.
I had a better trout on but my 5x tippet wasn’t strong enough. The same photographer told me the rod is to stiff, craptalk I would say.

Regards,
Elisabet
