Was gutted and somewhat suprised to find my recently aqquired reddington cps waders to be leaking at the foot. Further investigation revealed the insole of my left boot had come loose and slipped forward uncovering several nasty steel spikes. Must be the ends of screws/studs that help to hold the soles on.
The insole of the other boot was coming unstuck also. All repaired tonight, hopefully sucessfully.
So be warned, check your boots
