Rough weather and the run up to Christmas made for a quieter week at Delgatie, lures still dominate the catch returns book but occasionally flies that are best suited to the summer months do well and this was the case for Fraserburgh angler H Lockhart who landed 10 fish up to 3lb using spiders fished subsurface. M Sutherland boated 9 to 3lb on a pink sparkler while B Wiseman boated 7 to 3lb on buzzers and lures. F Murray landed a fish of 10.1lb in his bag of 6 taken on b.worm and lures while young A Lockhart boated one of 8lb in his bag of 6 using a w.s.w. M Thomas, N Burgess, S McLean and A Hay all had bags of 6 while B Reid, L Greenlees and G Cowie all landed 5 on lures.
