Thanks to Mike for hosting the day , to Ben and Hamish for bringing along the toys. It was really enjoable having a cast with the various rods , even though my wallet is a bit lighter  If I'd thought the weather was going to be so nice I'd have bough the barbie along , maybe next time.

youthful ,you should see me now i am cream crackered trying to keep up with all these young casting gurus,my loops are tailing and my erse is numb as i had to rush away to P.R.I.

It was a great day and I had to rush away without buying a rod

The western 3 rods are nice the 10FT#7 would be a braw boat rod and the rest are really well finished with a nice matt blank, if mrs monksmyre would let go of the purse i could maybe get one of them bad boys

Another highlight of the day was the chilli soup made by hamish ,come to think about it maybe thats how my erse was numb
