I have been thinking  :z6
I know  :oops
How does guarantees work with home built rods - are the blanks under gaurantee?

HI Baz

If a rod is built for you by a custom builder then the blank , if it comes with a guarantee, is covered.
Once registered :z16 The re-building of a section would be for negotiation, but most of us are fair :wink

Mike and I offer the Barrio rods, without a lifetime guarantee, but will build a replacement section for you for £30-£40 depending on which one it is. I noticed that some of the major manufacturers are starting to follow this idea, rather than advertising a lifetime warranty and then charging you £30-£40 to replace the section. I guess its starting to look a bit more open and honest :z18. It might allow rods to find their true value :wink

Glad you like it Baz,

I think that it's too upmarket for you though - a bit like giving an ape a china tea service! :z7 :z4 :z4
