Orange Fritz with a short Yellow tail & Lime Green Fritz with a short orange tail, seam to be colours that I get asked to tie most.

I use B160's Size can be from 6-10 ( sounds huge but they are not to bad ) :z16
Normally use 6mm fritz and if you want a tail i use a few strands from a hank of UV Tinsel!
Best asking Jim doyle hes the blob king  :wink
Any 6mm fritz would do i guess!

Another thing you could try is to tie in say 4 strands of small mirage tinsel at the eye of the hook , gives it a bit more flash when being pulled  :z16

Place one of your blobs next to a natural blob and you would not be able to tell the difference! ;)

A blob is like ground baiting in coarse fishing terms - it brings the fish in for a nosey  :z16
