Do you fancy doing the photo's for this swap Sandy?
So far all the flies look great and your Camera skills would do them a world of good rathen than me using my mobile phone again!

3-5 I would say, would be normal.
Depends what you are trying to achieve

I guess that you can overdo it but you'd really have to be silly. I usually use 4 -5 fibres and they look and work fine. Also I guess it looks, from an anglers perspective, better when the tails have a slight 'spread' if you get my drift.
