It seems I've run out of Pheasant tail  :shock As there wasn't any readily available from my prefered source (road kill) I've had a frankenstein moment at the vice, once the heads are dried will be in the post Monday

Fly that's coming is hares eary/montana-hybridy-type-"thing". But I use it, so everyone else can now too  :grin

Lots of motivation but lacking inspiration.

just tied a buzzer with stripped Peacock herl (dark stem) wrapped around a bed of pale yellow silk - as a contrast to having the quill as the bright wrap on a black background. Thing is I could have achieved the same thing with a wrap of dark thread so I got annoyed and coloured the whole fly with a red marker - actually looks much better!
Whoever said being bad tempered was a negative! :z4

Hi Baz,

Glad you got em OK and hope you like em. They have served me well the last couple of years in the winter.
Looking forward to receiving the other members offerings and trying them out.
One thing came to mind that if we are onto a killing pattern, having only one copy is tempting fate if we loose it. Any body fancy tying another 11 :z4 :z4 :z4

Best thing to do is wait till you get your flies rob, then if you like any you can always do swapys one to one with another member!
I have done that a few times on here then that way you get exactly what your after  :z16
