Hi all

We are still frozen over today. I cant see much of a change for tomorrow.
I think Sunday should be the better day as air temperatures are suppose to rise to 10 c and with SSW wind.
It should help shift this ice.

Hi folks

I'm not long back from Haddo and things are looking up, still a fair bit of ice about, but it is much thinner and there was some open water with a ripple on it :wink

The "ripple" passed the "plop" test with a small stone ..... all very technical :z4

It might clear tonight, but if not, it shouldn't take me long to get it fishing tomorrow morning. One angler is coming along already ...... so let's hope we can catch some fish :z3

Best wishes
Mike

I think myself and Mr Doyle will come and up and Poach your water tomorrow  :z16
Are we best to call before we come up or do you think the ice will be away?

Hi Baz :z16

You're asking me to guess :oops ...... hmmm, it might not be gone, but I'll gently persuade it to move tomorrow morning if it hasn't :z4

Not sure how it will fish? Sometimes very well after a long ice spell, but there again it can sometimes take a couple of days to pick up :wink

If we get more frost tonight, I'll post something here in the morning to warn you. If not ...... yes, come up and we'll see if we can't winkle out a few :z3

Best wishes
Mike

A wee bit of ice about this morning, but the loch fished OK and there was room for 3 to 4 boats.

So, Haddo is open ...... until the next frosts folks :z12

Well I did say "until the next frosts folks" :z13

Haddo was frozen again this morning, not as thick as it was last week, but a good hard covering :z6

I guess this is going to come and go at the moment :z6

Feels a bit milder tonight and it's raining ..... Fingers crossed for tomorrow :z3

Best wishes
