Hi folks

Dry flies, Spiders, Corixa, Diawl Bachs, Buzzers, Bloodworm, Damsels, Cats and small white nymphs have been on the menu at Haddo this week :wink

Fred McAlley tempted 22 fish up to 6 lb for his session, Neil Garden had 19 up to 7 lb, Ross Sangster 17 up to 6 lb, Frank Sangster 16 including two nice trout of approx 14 lb, Richard Hambly 16 up to 9½ lb, Brian Liebenberg 15 up to 12 lb, Malcom Mead 12 up to 3 lb, Norrie Hart 11 up to 10 lb, Pete Lay 11 up to 4½ lb, Bob Clayton 10 up to 5 lb, Steven Kidd 10 up to 4 lb, Graham Chiverton 8 up to 12½ lb, Ian Dawson 8 up to 10 lb and Robin Smith netted 8 fish up to 10 lb.

The loch was frozen all day today (Monday) and unless things warm up a bit tonight, I would think it is likely to remain frozen again tomorrow :z6

Best wishes

That was a surprise .... it must have been very mild indeed last night :z16

There was no ice whatsoever this morning and the loch fished well. Kenny made an interesting observation after having a rather good session today, there was quite a lot of mist hanging over the water at various times, yet the fish were keen to take ..... but when this happens on a river, the fishing is usually dour?

Best wishes
Mike
