Hi Baz,

Earlier this summer I bought a Minn Kota 30 lb with a 72 amp battery. It works well so far, no problems. I use the engine with a Paijanne boat for transportation to fishing places in small lakes, witch are 2-3 miles. A big river runs through the lakes, so there is some steamy water.
