A really lifelike pattern and a tying/material sourcing challenge, but I wonder how much more effective it would be than an epoxy or superglue buzzer which takes a fraction of the time to tie??

Just another example of "the beauty of our sport" .......... you can make things as complicated or as simple as you like

Great stuff

Just wondered how many people use straight hooks for buzzers and if they had brought much success?

Shipmans :z7

I tie Diawl bachs on both curved and straight hooks, they do seem to work at different times :z8

Hi Baz

I've noticed that a few of the "top buzzer fishers" that visit Haddo tie just as many on straight hooks as curved ones :wink

They don't say much about it, but they use them a lot and they certainly seem to work :wink

This is nothing new, I have seen them using them for years.

Cheers
Mike
