I just spent £25 on hooks..lol!!! Looking to have a shot at a "bass" mark soon...will let you know when the tides are right.  :z18

The site I use is great...if I get the H and the L in the right places ;)

I use this website for tides etc for when i go surfing,  Also gives wind and swell prediction. Very handy and updated every hour.

I should manage Thursday...if this damn rain stops!! Going to be a bumper day on the Feugh and Dee tomorrow me things..two lucky anglers had 6 fish each end of last week!!.

Lots of whisky being drunk in the hotel on Friday night :)  hic!

cool, hopefully get some flies tied up before then. Again they will be improvised. Infact if i take a pic of the stuff I bought the other day would you suggest some patterns?

Anything that is vaguely sandeel or snall baitfish shaped. Also, small shrimps in brown, pink and pearl should also work, especially if fished over the top of those rocks we where on last week.

What sort of stuff did you buy? If you want to buy some flies, the Orvis shop in Banchory has a range of saltwater flies (fulling mill I believe...can see them on the FM website) in just now..including plenty of sandeel, shrimp and even crab shaped ones. :)

Thanks for the Info but I dont like to buy flies when I can make an attempt to tie them :D
