Hi All
quite new  to fly fishing  ,mike  can back me upon that,  only been trying  for 2 or 3 years & i hope i am getting better as time goe on .
I have also been tying my own flys with some sucsess but i am wondering  what type of  fly is a wsw 
1 of my fishing frends was asking but i have not see this one  :z8

Ah the wsw ! wsw stands for walters secret weapon and it is a very good fish catcher :) It is a long shank hook with a long marabou tail of the colour of your choice, the body is a palmered grizzley hackle also in the colour of your choice and it also usually has a gold bead head. personally i havent had much luck with this pattern but thats just me! :)
