Haddo Trout Fishery ( to May 12th )

Hi folks

Plenty of fish rising again this week, but they are not yet keen to take a fly "high & dry" off the top ...... they still appear to be nymphing. :z3

This year's Hawthorns arrived at Haddo on Sunday so proper dry fly sport should hopefully be just around the corner, but Damsels, Spiders, Bob's Bits, Fraser Nymphs, Buzzers, Diawl Bachs and Pheasant Tail Nymphs have been on the menu this week. :wink

Kevin Slessor enjoyed a good float tubing "maiden voyage" session, netting 8 fish up to 6 lb. From the boats, Gordon Mackay tempted 30 trout up to 10 lb, Denis Mackay 22 up to 12 lb, Charles Macpherson 16 up to 11 lb, Colin Mckay 15 up to 6 lb, Lee Welsh 14 up to 7 lb, Steven Sinclair 14 up to 4½ lb, John Buchan 13 up to 13 lb, Scott Sim 13 up to 6 lb, Jay Scott 11 up to 10 lb, Graeme Shepherd 10 up to 6 lb and Scott Jonstone netted 10 fish up to 6 lb.

Best wishes
