Old Rods...

With my grandad recently passing away, he's left about 13 rods and reels, talking from as early as 1933 and maybe some (There's an 1933 Sharpes Scottie (Maybe wrong on the name). Most are cane.

Not sure what I can actually do with them, most are in excellent condition. A couple have names and a few don't.

I'll post some pictures when I get in this evening. There's original Hardys reels and such dating waaay back too.

There are several antique tackle dealers online that would be able to assess the worth of the gear, especially the Hardy reels. If you wsh to sell I am sure there are people out there willing to pay a fair price..BUT..make sure you know what they are worth before selling.

If you have any cane bait or spinning rods, let me know. I am after another Sharpes "The Carp". I picked one up locally as it had been used for worming on the dee in the 50's..and I really want another :)
