Looks like it is going to be classic tail end of the season weather ........ from low and clear to high and brown  :z8

Oh well - bound to be good for the Salmon.

Do you start to give up on your season at this time of year, or do you get keener to make the best of the last few weeks?

Mike,

Ordinarily I'd be trying to squeeze in every last second of fishing that i could before seasons end.

This year, put simply. I can't be arsed 😔

Steven.

Apart from a couple of trips away I have hardly fished the second half of the season. The upper reaches of the rivers I fish should clear quickly so looking forward to a couple of late season visits.

Most years my season ends the end of October. Certainly this season i will be happy to clean my tackle and put it away. Have never seen the river so empty. Getting to the stage were i am glad of the rainbows.
Bob.

I'm currently on Mull, they sure know how to do rain here and they're pretty good at wind too!   *smiley-grin*
