Title: River Don first cast of the season
Post by: Duncan McRae on 17/04/2022 at 22:13
No bars of silver to report on my first day out this season but it felt good to get going again, especially in such beautiful surroundings.

Took me a minute to know where you were - how does it fish from the 'opposite bank' ?
Any trout on the go ?

Not much sign of trout Fred. Just a couple of rises.

It's been a few years since I fished the right bank so my a double Spey cast is a bit rusty :(
A couple of pools fish better from this bank but likewise a couple of my favourite pools don't fish so well.
Looking forward to the summer nights.
