Title: Ian Moutter - Scotland. 2 classic books.

Does anybody have contact details please? I recently discovered him as the author of 2 profusely illustrated books mainly on tying paraloop/ hacklestacker flies ; the books were published in the early 2000s but are still available at Coch y bondhu for about £7.50 instead of £30.  The books IMHO are masterpieces and show tying methods not seen elsewhere or on Youtube.

Yes that is the same chap, we were on committees together years ago.

No Kerry, I assure you that is the same Ian Moutter - I know the chap.

He was in Gaia (fishing instructors group) at the same time I was there - we were on the committee for the Scottish section together. All sorts of people in the group, Doctor, Dentist I was selling tackle, Ian had a shop selling high fashion mens clothing in Edinburgh - and was an APGAI and AAPGAI qualified casting/fishing instructor.

For that matter I reviewed at least one of his books - Tying flies The Paraloop Way - for Fly Fishing and Fly Tying.
