Title: River Lyon
Post by: Steven Kidd on 29/05/2021 at 22:02
A delightful day on Friday fishing the River Lyon with a good friend.  Stunning scenery and an abundance of trout.

Those wee Blae and Hares Lug Clyde Style wets I tied a few months ago fished upstream did the trick.  The hatches were unbelievable, no idea on the entomology, however chose something that looked the same and hey presto.

The fish generally didn't like having their photo taken..........however captured this one, (didn't unhook before the photo), much different looking than Don trout, much more red spots, :-)
